We’re proud to announce that we will be working with Georgia Tech and University of Illinois on a grant they’ve been awarded that will explore technology that supports aging in place. The University collaboration will be researching needs among persons aging with disability and using their findings to drive technology design that addresses those needs.
Here’s where we come in: The Center on Technologies to Support Aging-in-Place for People with Long-Term Disabilities (TechSAge) will be using OneClick.chat’s innovative and engaging Live Events platform to host virtual Tai Chi classes for older adults with limited mobility. Our Live Events platform will support GA Tech by:
Providing a uniquely easy-to-use web-based video platform that was designed for and with older adults
Connecting attendees via our interactive breakout groups, which break the entire audience into small video chat groups to discuss a topic, work on a task, or socialize
Recording events for later viewing or research purposes
Because our platform is web-based and designed with a focus on ease of use, there are no downloads and virtually no learning curve for presenters or attendees.
